1st Week

Rocky is still doing good. I think that the area around his stitches is getting sore because he has yelped a few times when we have tried to move him off of that side.

He getting more and more spoiled everyday. He loves to lay all sprawled out on me and sleep - back to the old Rocky.

He won't even try to stand though. He will get up on his back legs and push his body around but when I try to stand him up, he is having no part of it! They said that they he should be walking by today. He goes back to the doctor Monday so I guess I'll talk to them about it then.

I haven't had time to take pictures this week since he has been home. I am going to try to get some new ones this weekend.

The First Weekend...

We made it through the first weekend pretty well. Rocky takes up most of our time. He is getting extremely spoiled. He expects someone to be sitting with him all of the time. You can tell that he doesn't understand why he can't get up. He now scoots around to get to us.

We try to leave him laying on his bed - until he rolls off into the floor. He is eating good and he is very loving. The only problem that we have had is helping him go potty. This has been a challenge.

Rocky is going back to the vet this morning to redo his cast and check on his stiches and everything.
